Family Partners Home Care

TO US, YOU ARE FAMILY

Home is where the heart is.

For many, home is the place that holds a lifetime of memories, where we feel the safest, the most comfortable and the happiest. In a perfect world, most of us would rather "age in place" in our own homes. But it is a fact of life that as we grow older even basic everyday tasks become more challenging. Unless family members live nearby and have time in their busy schedules to help, quality of life can deteriorate quickly when we can no longer live well and safely in our own homes.

Family Partners Home Care understands.  Maybe you have parents or grandparents who require Alzheimer's care, live-in care, or senior day care.  We are here to help you and your loved ones live as independently as possible in the comfort of home. We offer a full range of personalized, non-medical services to help seniors and others maintain their independence and dignity while bringing peace of mind to family caregivers.  Family Partners serves Michigan families throughout Southeast Michigan and in Macomb, Oakland, Lapeer and St. Clair counties.

It's like having a family member at home when you can't be there!

ABOUT US

Family Partners Home Care is a non-medical in-home care services company based in southeast Michigan, owned and operated by Anthony and Jeneane Palazzolo and family.

"We started Family Partners Home Care out of a deep sense of compassion for older people and the family members who care for them," says Anthony. "Like so many people, we have been caregivers for a loved one, our grandmother. As her health declined and her care required more and more from us, we realized that we could no longer care for her by ourselves, that we needed a helping hand."

The family supplemented their efforts with in-home care services, a move Anthony describes as "a blessing in enabling us to restore our relationship from caregivers back to loving grandchildren." The experience provided the Palazzolos with a deep understanding of the challenges faced by both seniors and their adult children and grandchildren.

"I have always had a special place in my heart, and a deep respect, for the elderly," says Anthony. "I have seen firsthand how important it is for people to remain in their homes as they age. It is the one place where they can maintain a sense of dignity, privacy and independence."

The Palazzolo family also saw that, with so many children living far away from aging parents and record numbers of baby boomers becoming seniors, many families were probably going through, or would soon be facing, a similar scenario. They created Family Partners Home Care as a way for families to fill the void in caring for their loved ones-by providing compassionate, dependable, non-medical care and companionship in the home.

"Choosing someone to care for a family member isn't easy," says Anthony. "You are entrusting your loved one's care to us. We want you to think of us as family, partnering with you to be with your loved ones when you can't be."
